POSTGRADUATE COURSES

Master of International Business

The world may feel smaller, and technology more advanced and more readily accessible, but the complexities of developing fruitful crossborder and cross-cultural business relationships remain, as do the intricacies of securing a business contract, understanding overseas consumer culture, or shipping freight to its final destination, on time and fit for purpose.

International Business comprises all commercial transactions (private and governmental, sales, investments, logistics, and transportation) that take place across national borders.

Otago’s MIntBus combines taught papers with either an applied project or a research project. It is designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to work across cultural boundaries in the expanding global business environment, and to advance your career opportunities. It is offered full-time over 12 months or part-time over 24 months.

The MIntBus offers a range of papers across a variety of business disciplines. If you have appropriate foreign language abilities, there is the opportunity to further develop these skills and cultural understanding.

Career Prospects

The MIntBus prepares you for a wide range of positions in practically every sector of society that has an international focus.
